Day 1: Arrival in Athens
Start this memorable adventure in Athens where you will be met at the airport by our private guide and driver for your transfer to your hotel to get settled before enjoying the rest of the day exploring on your own. A personal guidebook will give you options of what to see, or you may simply wander the streets to soak up the atmosphere of this vibrant city. We have much for you to see, including the Museum of the Acropolis on our half-day tour. In the evening, we feature a food tasting walking tour which will allow you to take in the sights by evening while sensing the aromas that are quintessential Greece.
Perhaps visit one of the world’s greatest antiquities museums. The Archaeological Museum boasts an impressive collection of Greek jewellery, pottery, sculpture, and other objects, including a 2,000-year-old computer discovered in a shipwreck. Other options include visiting the Parthenon atop Acropolis Hill or browsing shops and people-watching from one of the cafes in the historic Plaka district.
Day 2: Acropolis – the Parthenon – Evening food tasting
Today is your first introduction to an enticing tour of the Greek capital, covering the main cultural highlights whilst also diving into local cuisine. Climb to the top of the sacred Acropolis to greet the Parthenon, which has been looking over the city for centuries as one of the world’s most important structures. Your expert guide will reveal the stories behind the hill and its monuments, along with the city’s rich heritage itself. Learn all about the Greek civilisation’s cultural achievements during the Golden Age before embarking on the rest of the excursion: a three-hour food tour in the heart of the city. Intrigue all your senses while delving into the local cuisine, visiting artisans who’ve dedicated decades to perfecting their recipes, along with specialty food shops known for sourcing the best products from across the country.
You’ll explore the central food market, too, enjoying tastings of all sorts of sweet and savoury local treats along the way.
Day 3: Athens
A leisurely breakfast will start the day as we continue our exploration of this ancient city. Agora located near the Acropolis, was once the centre of the city and a place for people to gather. The government at one time was also located here. The Temple of Hephaistos is well preserved and served as a church at one time.
Syntagma Square – the largest in Athens is where you find the parliament building. A busy part of the city, it was created in 1834 for King Otto as a palace. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the changing of the guard will hold your attention as the Evzonan soldiers keep watch. The most spectacular changing is on a Sunday at 11 am. The guards change every hour.
Near Monastiraki are the Varvakeios Markets that will have your head spinning. Here you can buy everything from fruit and vegetables, local wines, meat, fish and fruit. There is something for everyone here.
Day 4: Sifnos – Food and Culture
Today is your first speed boat experience as we set off from Athens – Piraeus for Sifnos.
Our tours are run on a private basis, so visiting Artemonas with labyrinthine streets and alleyways to the largest village on the island is a special event. The name is derived from the Goddess Artemis and the island of antiquity. There are a number of bakeries and pastry shops, restaurants and traditional pottery workshops. Apollonia, your next stop. The beating heart of the island and the capital, the local restaurants and shops offer clothes and art that will tempt you. Every September the Cultural Association of Sifnos organises a three-day Festival of Cycladic Gastronomy in honour of Nikolaos Tselementes, the chef and cookery book writer, with the participation of chefs and cooks, musicians and dancers from many of the Cyclades islands, with demonstrations of local recipes, culinary competitions and many other side events and exhibitions.

Day 6: Exploring Sifnos at your leisure
Sifnos offers incredible food, charming whitewashed villages, and scenic coastal paths. Top highlights include exploring the medieval village Kastro and relaxing on one of the sandy beaches like Vathi.

Day 7: Milos Island
All aboard your transfer by speed boat to the beautiful island of Milos noted for its volcanic nature and the stunning Sarakiniko Beach, Kleftiko caves, and colourful fishing villages. Milos is a masterpiece shaped by sea, sunlight, and story — an island where volcanic cliffs plunge into turquoise coves, and the air carries the scent of lemon, wild herbs, and freshly grilled seafood. Its flavours are as vivid as its landscapes: tender souvlaki kissed by charcoal, bright tomato‑rich pitarakia, and sweet local cheeses that taste of the island’s rugged hills. As you wander from the moon‑white rocks of Sarakiniko to the pastel harbour of Klima, you feel the quiet magic of a place once home to ancient sailors and the famed Venus de Milo. Milos is stunning not just for its scenery, but for the way it wraps you in warmth — a gentle, sunlit invitation to slow down, savour, and fall in love with Greece all over again.
Use the afternoon to explore at your leisure.
Day 8: Milos
Today we will visit Plaka, the island’s hilltop capital featuring whitewashed lanes, sunset viewpoints, and the Archaeological Museum of Melos. Be drawn in by the sheer exquisite scenery that is everywhere you turn. Don’t forget your camera for the pinch-me moments. We finish off the day with a private sunset cruise.
Day 9: Milos
If you feel like Milos is a poem written in light — white cliffs glowing beneath the sun, turquoise waters whispering at the shore, and quiet villages where time softens and the air tastes of sea salt and wild herbs, you would be correct. Wander far enough and the island reveals its secrets: colours shaped by fire and ocean, flavours born of tradition, and echoes of ancient sailors who once crossed these same blue horizons. Milos doesn’t just shine… it lingers, like a gentle line of verse you carry long after you’ve left. Today we will introduce you to the flavours of the island with a private cooking lesson.

It’s famous for its striking natural beauty and its food, including rich Rosto (pork with garlic) that impressed the late chef/author/television personality Anthony Bourdain. Thanks to the high altitude as well as being amphitheatrically built along the slopes of Mount Fanari, you’ll be able to enjoy extraordinary views from the restaurants here, most serving local produce while overlooking lush valleys and peaks. As you stroll along the marble paths, the village’s old-fashioned arts and tasty dishes will be revealed.
Enjoy a fun, authentic gastronomic experience with a visit to a traditional home where you’ll get to enjoy warm Greek hospitality along with a cooking lesson.
Of course, sharing and tasting will be included in this relaxed, informal excursion as well. You’ll be welcomed with local wine and appetisers, getting a brief intro to the island’s local foods and gastronomy before heading into the kitchen for expert instruction with the chef. Help prepare the traditional Greek dishes using fresh, local ingredients, and then gather with all on the lovely terrace where you’ll share and taste the delicious meal everyone helped put together.
